Meet Madison Van Raalte
Madison is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She specializes in treating children, adolescents and young adults struggling with emotion regulation, low mood, clinical anxiety, self-harm, low self-worth, as well as peer and relationship difficulties. Madison strongly believes that every behaviour serves a function and through support, insight, skill building and practice, significant change can occur. Madison enjoys supporting families, and empowering children and parents from a strengths-based framework.

What Madison Offers
Madison provides therapy and counselling from a holistic, client-centred approach and tailors treatment to meet every family’s unique needs as they shift and grow across the lifespan. In her clinical practice, Madison works with youth and families from an attachment-based, trauma-informed lens, utilizing evidence-based treatment practices. These include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
Work Experience
Madison currently works at The Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) in Burlington, providing trauma-informed individual and group treatment for children and families. Madison began her career from a youth engagement lens, supporting adolescents and young adults (aged 12-24) at Nexus and Eclypse Youth Centres. Subsequently, Madison worked at EveryMind Mental Health Services (Peel Children’s Centre), where she specialized in children’s mental health and family-based treatment. Madison also worked in the Peel Tangerine Walk-In Clinics, where she offered Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to support families with short-term goals.
These diverse experiences inform Madison's approach, and she collaboratively works with clients to foster growth, resilience and overall positive functioning as an individual and family system.
